“Ivy Cottage” was designed by Shannon prior to Roundhouse as part of a collection of 10 new build modern tiny cabins in Hocking Hills, Ohio in 2023. The vibe for this cabin was “English countryside cottage”. She wanted it to feel warm, collected, and “biophilic” or nature inspired. She layered shades of green, different wood tones, and different metals to achieve this. She mixed antique finds from Facebook Marketplace with store-bought decor from Target to get a “storied on a budget” effect.
